I'm only selling because I am focusing my guitar collection in a very specific direction, and anything that doesn't fit that vision is moving on. I have another 1986 black Baretta that I am keeping. But the black came back very well with some elbow grease maintaining the original factory finish. When I purchased this guitar, I initially was going to strip and repaint the body. It has an active EMG humbucker that shreds as good as the action and the excellent maple neck with rosewood fretboard that still has plenty of fret life left. It has been recently buffed and polished but does still show signs of it's age at 35 years old. This Baretta has all gold hardware, vintage gold made in Japan Gotoh tuners, Gold Gotoh Floyd Rose bridge, R2 size locking nut and vintage gold knurled volume knob.

It's all shred and no BS with its single volume knob and 1 slanted humbucker pickup.

The guitar created by Kramer in collaboration with Eddie Van Halen and played by many other 80s guitar legends like Mick Mars of Motley Crue. This is an E Plate 1986 Kramer Baretta, made in the USA.
